Classic Touch String Ensembles

Leslie Capozzoli founded Classic Touch String Ensemble as a student at University of Michigan School of Music.  She has always had a passion for playing chamber music.  Born and raised in Metro-Detroit, Leslie has the great fortune of performing with her closest friends, most of whom she first began playing with as a student attending the summer orchestra program at the Interlochen Arts Academy.  Her ensemble has performed for hundreds of private and corporate events.  Classic Touch String Ensembles has been the long-time preferred vendor for major institutions including St. John's Golf and Conference Center and the University of Michigan Medical School Alumni Relations.  

Leslie has also performed with several symphonies in Michigan, including those in Adrian, Birmingham, Bloomfield, Flint, Jackson, Plymouth and Saginaw.  She performs annually in the Lexington Bach Festival.  Branching out into jazz, rock, and fold music, Leslie performed with a big band for many years and has collaborated with musicians on many different types of recordings, concerts, commercials, and large scale events.  When she is not performing, Leslie enjoys her work with children as an orchestra director and clinician. The two "gigs" that Leslie always remembers with a smile include a summer spent teaching violin in Paris and performing the national anthem at a Detroit Tigers game in their first year at Comerica Park.
